Physical Therapist (PT)
Physical therapists evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal and neuromusclar dysfunctions that limit daily activities. They provide services that restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities. Physical therapists also help restore, maintain, and promote overall fitness and health.
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Physical therapist assistants perform treatments that are established by the physical therapist in the plan of care. They also ensure that the physical therapist is aware of any changes in the patient's status and appropriate changes are made.
Physical Therapy Technicians (Techs/Aides)
Physical therapy technicians perform supportive, non-clinical duties under the direction of licensed PTs and PTAs.
